Popular Television personality, Piers Morgan has hit out at Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, following the Gunners’ Premier League 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
Morgan said Arteta could moan as much as he wants, adding that Arsenal’s Premier League derby loss to Tottenham is unforgivable.
A brace from Harry Kane and a strike from Son Heung-min gave Antonio Conte’s side all three points against Arsenal.
Reacting, Morgan, a life-long fan of Arsenal, wrote on Twitter after the game, “Arteta can moan as much as he wants, but we bottled it tonight, and in a North London Derby that’s unforgivable.
“Can Arteta-crazed Arsenal fans remind me again why I should trust a process that involves spending £250m in 2yrs, giving our best striker to Barcelona, and losing 5 of our last 10 League games in crucial run-in with nothing else to play for? I’m struggling.”
The result means Arsenal are now a point behind Tottenham on the log, with two games remaining.
