The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has visited Niger State as part of his widespread consultation for his ambition to contest the 2023 Presidential election.

The group held a closed-door meeting with Abdulsalami and when asked after the meeting what they came for, they refused to comment.

Ikpeazu further stated that they came to commend him for the support and fatherly role he played in the country.
He added, “We commended him for his support for the unity of this country; the discussions went very well, and we will take it from there.”
